- In this state the air passes through the center hole of the diaphragm and goes out of the vent. This is how the pressure is balanced across the diaphragm of the proportional pressure regulator.
- When the output pressure becomes higher than the set limit, then the air will go out from the vent. If the pressure is lower than the defined limit then the valve assembly opens to obtain the desired pressure. Moreover, this pressure exits from the regulator by the outlet port.
For adjusting the flow of the digital air pressure regulator, adjust the values when it is in use. The value in the stopped condition is the value of the compressor, not the exact using value. Mostly people misunderstand this and may think that the regulator is damaged or not working properly. The correct time to set the pressure flow is when it is in use. One thing is to remember that never connect a regulator with a source having more pressure than the rated inlet pressure because these regulators are not made to be used as the shut off devices.
