What is DND?

DND – Do Not Disturb, is a service provided by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to prevent telemarketing, promotional call, or SMS for telecom users. If the user/s wants to stop these promotional or telemarketing call or SMS so they can turn off this service from their mobile operators. This service STOP this SMS on your mobile number.

Benefits of DND?

You can’t get any promotional offers or telemarketing. You do not receive any commercial offers such as GYMS, FLATS, APARTMENTS, EDUCATIONAL, Banking, Health Services, etc.

How to activate DND IN JIO?

There are two methods to activate the Full DND service. You can go on your own choice.

Method 1 : By using my Jio app.

1. Download My JIO App from the play store or apple store. If you have already continued the second step.
2. Open my jio app by clicking on the app icon.
3. Click on the three-line button upper left corner.
4. Click on settings. Select services.
5. As you can see in the given picture, here is the option for Full DND.
6. Just activate full DND or you can choose your options given below. Then click on submit after that your request will be activated shortly.

Method 2 : By SMS on 1909

1. Open your message app.
2. Type in SMS “0” to “1909” this will activate your full DND on your mobile number.
