Naruto Dojutsu: Sharingan, Rinnegan, Byakugan and Others

In the Naruto World, the Dojutsu is the ninja skill that utilizes the eyeballs. The Dojutsu is usually attained genetically but could be implanted. Of All, there are three great Dojutsus in naruto that is:

Sharingan
Byakugan
Rinnegan

However, all three great ninjutsu may have originated from the one in the oldest Dojutsu.

Rinne Sharingan

The Rinne Sharingan is a very dangerous Jutsu for the animes. This was first manifested by Kaguya Otsutsuki After eating the chakra fruit of the god tree and later by Uchiha Madara. The Rinne Sharingan allows the user to wildered use their ocular power of the Sharingan as well as the cast infinite Tsukuyomi(the extremely powerful Genjutsu). Kaguya Otsutsuki could freely move between a series of alternate dimensions. If you don’t know, The Rinne Sharingan Dojutsu is the predecessor to Rinnegan Dojutsu.

Rinnegan

The first person on earth to wield the Rinnegan was Hagoromo Otsutsuki who was the first son of Kaguya Otsutsuki. Later some people could use this Dojutsu and those are Madara, Obito, Sasuke of Uchiha Clan; Nagato Uzumaki (The student of Jiraya) as well as some other members of the Otsutsuki clan like Urashiki and Momoshiki.

The Sharingan could transform to Rinnegan through combining Asura & Indras Chakra which will bring out Hagaromo’s chakra. Madara Uchiha attains Rinnegan after he integrated with Hashirama’s Senzu DNA. The Sasuke Uchiha left eye became a Rinnegan after acquiring half of the Hagaromo’s Chakra.

Mangekyo Sharingan

An advanced form of the Sharingan is the Mangekyo Sharingan. A Mangekyo Sharingan is distinguished by a pattern of the iris. While the exact each user has a different pattern though all of them resemble pinwheels. The user is usually awakened by the trauma from witnessing the death of someone close. The Mangekyo Sharingan have the same sharing God’s abilities. In addition to that, each Mangekyo user is granted different abilities. Although abilities could be similar in nature. For example, Both Itachi and Sasuke Uchihas are able to use Amaterasu Flames, Susano. The use of Mangekyo Sharingan Power may cause considerable damage to the user even making them blind.

However, by transplanting the Mangekyo Sharingan of someone with close blood ties like a sibling, the vision can be restored and thus awaking the eternal Mangekyo. Unlike with other transplants, this second awakening will allow the user to keep original abilities and able to access new eyes abilities.

Byakugan Dojutsu

Besides the Rinne Sharingan, the Otsutsuki also possesses Byakugan. Later the Byakugan Dojutsu became a symbol of the Hyuga clan. The descendants of Kaguya, Byakugan users have a near full 360-degree field of vision around themselves and their vision can see through almost anything. The Byakugan can see chakra in one body with better detail than Sharingan. The ability of Byakugan to see chakra is so accurate the owner could see the chakra pathway system. Some powerful users can have different abilities like Momoshiki claims his Byakugan can read the fate of others.

The advanced form of Byakugan is the Tenseigan. The first one who awakened is Hamara Otsutsuki. There is another way to attain Tenseigan when Otsutsuki is implanted with the Hyuga Byakugan. This combination transforms the Byakugan into Tenseigan Dojutsu. The Tenseigan wielder is granted new power such as Tenseigan chakra mode or using the sage truth-seeking ball. Tenseigan could control the mood and create new life forms.

Another path of Byakugan’s evolution is Jogan. Like many Dojutsu, the Jogan helps the users see chakra. And it’s also Letting him easily track opponents across a whole battlefield. The vision increases the prediction ability & allows quick reaction to enemy attacks. It maybe have other abilities that are not awakened yet. The first user of Jogan is Boruto.

Other Dojutsu

Besides three greater Dojutsu, there are other Eyes techniques like Ketsurugan, Yome Dojutsu, etc. The Ketsurugan cast hypnosis by making eye contact with the victim. But it also gives the user the ability to control iron and blood. The Shions Dojutsu is an unnamed Dojutsu that sees people’s future. Although she believes these futures were set in stone. She eventually learns that fate could be changed with enough effort. The Yome Dojutsu has a special Dojutsu that allows her to track down enemies via the reflection of tiny water droplets.
